Karikachi Poppo Trail

A walking trail developed on the former Japan National Railway Karikachi Line, which was discontinued in 1966. Today, it’s popular for walking, cycling, and horseback riding. The trail stretches about 10 km from the SL Plaza below the Shintoku-yama Ski Resort to the former Niinai Station. Along the way, you can see romantic railway heritage sites such as brick arch bridges and piers.
